Pulled into a restaurant today after picking up my Lake Silver Kona and parked beside a grey Kona. The colours are very similar but the silver has a hint of blue in it and the grey is a relatively bright grey. Hard to tell the difference by just glancing but if you actually look for it you can tell the difference. Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
My preferred arrived today in Kamloops. I also saw 2 others waiting for pick up. Ironic that someone was taking a pic of my car when I showed up. What was halarious was when I returned from the test drive, a good coworker/friend was with his wife inquiring about the Kona EVs and when they saw me backing up into the stall. They assumed that my car was a test EV for them to try as it was also the model and colour they wanted!!! I threw them the keys and let them have a burn in it. I think they put a down payment on one that will prob arrive in April. Day one has been great; I installed the Tux Mats and put the sun visors I purchased in June and sat down with a beer and started reading the owners manual. It's been decades if ever I've been this excited about a vehicle
I stopped by the Hyundai dealer in Kamloops Fri Night and My EV was parked right beside the charging machine but wasn't plugged in. I plugged it in and the battery was at around 1/3 charge, so glad I did. I think I saw yours charging in the late am sat
The fact that it it seems to reduce the prominence of the I’ll look at those mats. I see that weathertech mats are not available for Kona EV. What mod (?) did u do for visors?
I used weather tech visors. The ICE Kona and EV window dimensions are identical. I bought the kit for all the windows and they fit great.
Sorry, just to clarify.... I bought SUN reflectors not rain visors if by chance I was making no sense I bought the reflective sun shades
Now I'm confused. So you bought one of these: https://www.weathertech.ca/en/hyundai/2019/kona/sunshade/ not one of these ?: https://www.amazon.ca/s?k=weathertech+window+visors&i=automotive&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk4-s_-jY4wIVgcpkCh2OUQHNEAMYASAAEgIDdvD_BwE&hvadid=324938932689&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9001618&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1o1&hvqmt=b&hvrand=11201104632555878377&hvtargid=kwd-5086243010&hydadcr=570_10212780&tag=googcana-20&ref=pd_sl_819opeu8pc_b
Sixty dollars for a front sunscreen? I got one at the dollar store for a couple of bucks and it works fine.
Actually the "full vehicle kit" ( as Kamloops_KoNa mentioned) is $189.95 and includes freight. I find trees work really well , when available.
Got a call from Victoria Hyundai yesterday afternoon and my Kona preferred pulse red is en route for a delivery of the end of August. Just under 120 days from order to delivery if that’s the case from my May 3rd order. Woot! Super excited!
Congrats, Jared! My Preferred was ordered on 25 April and I will pick it up on the weekend, 98 days later. I got a confirmation note with my VIN on 3 Jul. Order: 25 Apr = 0 days VIN confirmation: 3 Jul = 69 days Vehicle pick-up: 3 Aug = 98 days This has been a pretty great experience, right from the first call -- props to the team at Gyro Hyundai in Toronto. Now we just need to cross the finish line!
