    Cool
I wonder if it gives the app an error, if ya temporarily remove it.

  3. No, that is not the SIM card. That is an SD card with the map data on it. The Sim card is most likely not accessable easily. Probably on a board underneath the dashboard somewhere.

  4. Yes, I did the same and it works great! Mine is even shorter. Just like 3 or 4 inches.

  5. My dealer made it sound like it does double duty.

  6. Then he has no clue what he's talking about. It's just like your phone. It has a Sim card and an SD card. SD card is for data storage and the Sim card for wireless communication. If you open the little cover the you'll find only one card and that's the SD card for the maps.

    Something like this Esprit1st?

    https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=301&cp_id=30107&cs_id=3010703&p_id=30784&seq=1&format=2

I’m a big fan of Monoprice (solid quality cables, very reasonable prices)— will order a couple of these if you think this product looks like it would work.

    Thanks,

  10. Couldn't find the SIM card, but I did see Android V4.2.2 in the version settings of " Engineering Mode "
How to get that? see this video:

Interesting stuff, note you have to tap about 3/4" from the sides of update and a regular frequency of taps, maybe there's something in there to disable VESS ? Use @ your own discretion:oops:.

Couldn’t find any settings for vess. Most settings are for radio, cameras and nav

The highest was just recently at 485km. My commute to work is 53km each way, mostly highway driving with numerous hills (typical BC interior), so that's probably as good as I can hope for.

  15. Not getting any better but close if you add a decimal point to the left of the last digit in the 3 categories

  16. At first, I loved Blue Link but lately it's been incredibly glitchy. I set my "depart" times, save them, get a notification that they've been accepted... And then they revert to what they were before. Same with off-peak charging settings. AND I cannot change the charge limit on my phone. I changed it on my laptop, but the change was not indicated in the app itself. On the app, I get a notification that the feature I'm trying to use is not included in my subscription... But I already changed the charge level from 80 to 90. I called support and some yahoo said that feature didn't come with the app. When I asked him why, if it isn't included, that it's on the app, he didn't have an answer. I rebooted my phone and was able to use the charge limit app--ONCE. Now, I keep getting that same message no matter how many times I reboot. I've also deleted the app and re-installed. If Hyundai does not resolve this, I will NOT be paying for the app when my trial runs out.

  17. I noticed on my app that the charge limit will not be sent to the phone. So if I change it in the car it will not be reflected in the app. However I was still able to set it from the app, meaning it was 90 in the car, I set it to 100 in the app and sent it and the car received it.

  18. My car will not receive any info related to charging. I keep getting the message that my subscription will not allow. I'm quite tech savvy, so have no idea why this is happening and the BlueLink "support" is more clueless than I am. They have absolutely no experience/expertise in trouble shooting this. Will see what happens tonight when I charge...

Anyone have any luck with Bluelink and Magisk ? The Magisk Hide feature does not well with my current version Android (Marshmallow). Bluelink used to work but a recent update update broke the Hide feature so now Bluelink refuses to run.

  20. Has anyone had any luck in trying to edit or delete a saved climate Favourite setting?

FYI - The good (or bad) news is that the Bluelink app works the same in iOS 13 as it does in iOS 12 on Apple Devices. I am on the beta and at least things won't break when everyone upgrades in September when it becomes publicly available.

Also - I am also a big fan of the new Apple CarPlay app that you get with iOS 13. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out, it's a nice upgrade with a few new features.

  22. Got an answer from Facebook group. Swipe left on the Favourite setting (from the triangle at the right edge), allows options: set as default, edit, delete.
