Want to share this with everyone who is looking for a level 2 charger. Blink currently has a $100 charging credit on their charging network if you buy their HQ100 level 2 charger. They also have a 25% discount to their Pro members. You can join pro member for free. The unit sales for $400. Also there is a US federal tax credit of 30% for the purchase and installation of chargers. So $400 - 25% discount = $300 - 30% federal tax credit = $210 - $100 charging credit - $110. Pretty good deal for a solid charger!
Tax Credit expired at the end of 2020. I think it is likely that it will be extended, but at this time there is no EVSE tax credit for purchases in 2021 (and beyond).
I read somewhere that you could only get the 30% tax credit for charging equipment during the year bought the EV vehicle, but that might not be correct.
I just bought this Blink unit in October and installed it after Christmas. It seems high quality and I am completely happy with it so far. It is not networked, but I don’t care about that. It does allow for push-button delayed timing, but I’m not on a time of day power plan so, again, not something I care about. I got it for $240 from Amazon on a flash sale in early October. In hindsight, I think I could have applied the “pro” 25% on top of that, but I didn’t know about that code at the time. That would have been a crazy good deal, but even the $240 was fantastic for this type of charger. (And as OP states, the regular $300 deal is still absolutely great.) Do you tell people, "My Clarity is on the Blink," when you're charging? Sorry, if I'm repeating what must be an old joke among Blink EVSE owners.
